MacDonald’s scheme community initiative “Love Where you Live”
MacDonald’s not just a place to eat, but potentially a place to engage young people and educate them to make the right life choices …
YOUTH VOICES OF BEDFORD
A six-week scheme to engage and connect and for our companies to act as a mediator for young people up to the age of 18 living in Bedford, by organising programmes that encourage participation
How often do you pop into MacDonald’s and come across crowds of young people hanging around, not causing any trouble just milling around the shop and having fun?
We also often hear the quote “there is nothing for young people to do” and this is very true! However, there are many programs running across London and the home counties, but the message is not getting to the young people.
Many MacDonald’s restaurants have large spaces so why not use this space in a positive way to help young people and our communities.
This is the start of a new pilot project to enable McDonald’s to become more involved with their customers and the youth in the areas they serve.
